A 6-operator team from the RUDXTeam will activate Heiss Island (IOTA EU-019) in the Franz Josef Land archipelago, the northernmost DXCC entity in the world. The operation is scheduled from September 1-12, 2026, from the Geophysical Polar Observatory. Activity on 160-10m in CW, SSB, and FT8 with two simultaneous stations (CW/SSB and FT8). QSOs will be uploaded daily to ClubLog. A budget of 80,000 USD is required for this logistically demanding Arctic expedition.
