Ferdinand "Muttley" M0HXC will activate Ascension Island as ZD8KX from May 25 to 29, 2026. The operation will be QRP (5W) using an Icom IC-705 and a 66ft EFHW antenna. Modes will include CW, SSB, and FT8/4/2, with split frequency operation (CW +5kHz, SSB +10kHz). QSOs will be confirmed via QRZ.com only, with no LoTW, eQSL, or paper QSL support. This rare activation offers a unique opportunity to work the remote British Overseas Territory in the South Atlantic.
